CEO Forum Retreats
Annual retreats are an important part of CEO Forums. These retreats serve three primary purposes: (1) to provide unique business training experiences through visits, tours, and expert presentations, (2) to create new business connections for members–between each other and those organizations and businesses we visit, and (3) to provide attractive venues where members and spouses will enjoy a well-earned getaway together.
Retreats are generally held in August or September. Typically, members travel on Wednesday or Thursday of a retreat week. The first event of most retreats is a no-host dinner on Thursday evening where members and their spouses gather to enjoy a great meal and to review the events planned for the next few days. Friday is typically a day of business tours, visits and presentations, with Saturday as a day for recreation and entertainment. Sunday is a day for either travel home–or personal time for extended visits at the option of members.
During the day of the business visits, the group eats lunch together (cost of lunch is covered by the CEO member hosting the retreat). Each member of the specific group covers their own expenses and the expenses of their CEObuilder coach to attend the retreat (flight, vehicle, food, hotel, etc.).
Retreats are always memorable and have been a highlight of CEObuilder membership for both members and spouses.
