CEObuilder was founded by Richard Tyson in the spring of 1991 as an outgrowth of his consulting firm, Tyson & Associates. CEObuilder initially was strictly a peer-to-peer forum for CEOs, with Mr. Tyson acting as group facilitator — and as a coach and consultant to each member.
Since that time, CEObuilder has added services to address the needs of key executives and front-line employees within our client firms. However, the CEO continues to be the centerpiece of all we do. We are pledged to our unique selling proposition, “We build successful CEOs.” In that regard, we recognize that no CEO is ultimately successful without a strong supporting cast. To that end, we have – over the last three years — expanded our product offering beyond the CEO Forum to include KEO, ELO, and OCS.
The foundation of our success is in the careful selection of our group chairpersons. These individuals are meticulously screened not only for their business skills and experience, but also for their facilitative and problem-solving abilities. They must also fit our company culture and share the vision of CEObuilder.
Our base operation is located in Orem, Utah, with a geographic market which presently includes Utah’s Wasatch Front; that is, cities from Payson to the south to Brigham City in the north. Expansion will take us beyond this area in the future.

"“For over fourteen years, I consistently turned to the other company presidents in my CEO Forum Group for objective advice. To a man, they are intensely interested in my issues – and are brutally honest in their counsel. Their input has been worth hundreds of thousands of dollars to me.”"Dave Freeman,
"“I understand that CEObuilder is not for every CEO. However, if you have a high need to maintain and improve your knowledge base and leadership skill set, I highly recommend CEObuilder as a valuable tool to improve your ability as a CEO. Candidly, being an effective CEO is hard work that requires constant updates to maintain cutting edge aptitude. CEObuilder provides those updates.”"- Rich Marker,
"“If you want to succeed, if you want to help your business grow, then you must continually invest in yourself. CEO is among the very best investments I’ve made in my personal development.”"Marlin Shelley,
